Voter Turnout by Gender
This is a list of historical voter turnout rates by gender for each election cycle, including data for male, female, not specified, and calculated percentages. Use the following definitions to better understand what each category represents:
Date -
The exact date of the election
Election -
The year and the type of election (Primary, General, Special)
Female
-
The number of officially registered voters that had specified their gender as female and voted in the specified election
F% (Female Percentage) -
The number of officially registered female voters that voted in the specified election as a function of the total turnout number
Male -
The number of officially registered voters that had specified their gender as male and voted in the specified election
M% (Male Percentage)
- The number of officially registered male voters that voted in the specified election as a function of the total turnout number
Not Specified
- The number of officially registered voters that had not specified their gender and voted in the specified election
N% (Not Specified Percentage)
- The number of officially registered voters that did not specify their gender and voted in the specified election as a function of the total turnout number
Total
- The total number of registered voters that participated in the given election year and had "male", "female", or "not specified" marked under gender in the statewide voter registration database
