This is a list of historical voter turnout rates by age for each election cycle, including data and percentages from four defined age groups 18-24, 25-40, 41-55, 56+. Use the following definitions to better understand what each category represents:
- Election - The year and the type of election (Primary, General, Special)
- 18-24 - The total number voters that participated in that particular election between the ages of 18 and 24
- 18-24% - The total number of voter participants between the ages of 18 and 24 as a function of the total number of voters for the particular election
- 25-40 - The total number voters that participated in that particular election between the ages of 25 and 40
- 25-40% - The total number of voter participants between the ages of 25 and 40 as a function of the total number of voters for the particular election
- 41-55 - The total number voters that participated in that particular election between the ages of 41 and 55
- 41-55% - The total number of voter participants between the ages of 41 and 55 as a function of the total number of voters for the particular election
- 56+ - The total number voters that participated in that particular election, who are 56 years of age and older
- 56+% - The total number of voter participants that are 56 years of age and older as a function of the total number of voters for the particular election
- Total - The total number of voters that participated in the specified election
