Campaign Finance Public Financing Pilot Program

This pilot program is for candidates for the West Virginia Supreme Court running for office in 2012.  Here you can find information, candidates, records, and laws regarding the public financing program.


Financial Reports: Federal Candidates

This link will take you to the website of the Federal Election Commission (FEC), which is responsible for the regulation of candidates running for President, US Senate, and US House of Representatives.  All the financial reports of federal candidates are submitted to the FEC, and can be viewed on their webiste.


Financial Reports: Indep. Expenditures and Election Comm.

The information in this area is broken down by each of the two main respective categories of Electioneering Communications and Independent Expenditures, and then by year.  Here you can find out what organizations or individuals have been financially politically active, and how much they have spent. 


Financial Reports: Political Action Committees

This area contains an alphabetical listing of political action committees (PAC).  Under each listing there will be a list of submitted financial reports of the committee's financial activities over the given reporting period. 


Financial Reports: Statewide Candidates

This area houses the lists of candidates organized by election years, and any campaign finance reports that the individual candidates or their treasurers have submitted to the West Virginia Secretary of State.  These listings include both scanned PDF versions of submitted paper documents as well as online digital filings.
